All this is changing now. I have always had a love affair with books. I was that kid who kept a list of all the books I read in the summer to give to my teacher when school started again. I won prizes for the number of books that I read! I love looking at books on the shelf, that's something I have forgotten this past few years that I have been reading exclusively on my Kindle. I will still probably do the majority of my reading on my Kindle, but I am slowly staring to buy hard copy books again.
The one book that broke my hard copy fast was the Jim Beaver book I reviewed a couple weeks ago, Life's That Way. Then I ended up getting these books...
I have a fascination with John Barrowman. It started when he first came on the scene in the first season of Doctor Who and has continued since then. One is his autobiography and the other one is more about his career. I don't know when I will read these, but I know that I will someday! He has also written this book and I think I am going to have to keep my eye out for it because it looks like something I would like as well. Here is the synopsis posted on Goodreads.

I haven't heard of this author before -- I am just the opposite -- I have a nook but much prefer paper. The screen gives me a headache when I read too long on it.

Big fan of Barrowman - stemming from Doctor Who too, but sustained because I love his singing voice. Will have to check out that book. DeleteWow, I didn't know he wrote another memoir. I checked and my library doesn't have, "I Am What I Am". Guess I'll eventually have to buy it.
