Can a love that transcends death survive a war between angels, vampires, and lycans?
An angel with immense power and insatiable desire, Adrian Mitchell leads an elite Special Ops unit of the seraphim. His task is to punish the Fallen--angels who have become vampires--and command a restless pack of indentured lycans.

But Adrian has suffered his own punishment for becoming involved with mortals--losing the woman he loves again and again. Now, after nearly two hundred years, he has found her: Shadoe, her soul once more inhabiting a new body that doesn't remember him. This time
he won't let her go.

With no memory of her past as Shadoe, Lindsay Gibson knows only that she can't help being fiercely attracted to the smoldering, seductive male who crosses her path. Swept into a dangerous world of tumultuous passion and preternatural conflict, Lindsay is soon caught between her angel lover, her vampire father, and a full-blown lycan revolt. There's more at stake than her love and her life--she could lose her very soul...
Coming up next
When I am done I will be moving on to the 2nd in the series.  I received this ARC Galley from NetGalley and it will be my very first NetGalley ARC review!

release date July 3, 2012

Sylvia Day draws us back into the shadows of a seductive underworld where lycans, vampires and angels vie for supremacy...

Elijah Reynolds is the most dominant of lycans, a rare Alpha whose skill on the hunt is surpassed only by his primal sexuality. When the lycans revolt due to the iron fist of angelic rule, he steps into command, becoming both enemy and coveted ally in the conflict between vampires and angels.

Vashti is the second most powerful vampire in the world, a lethal beauty with a path of devastation in her wake. Tasked with proposing an alliance between vampires and the lycans who killed her mate, Vash approaches Elijah, whose need to avenge a friend demands Vash's death even as his passion demands her surrender.

Soon, their enmity erodes beneath an all-consuming desire. Elijah has never encountered a woman whose warrior spirit and fierce sexual appetite rivals his own, while Vash is faced with the one man strong enough to be her equal. But as war looms, each must decide where their loyalty lies--with their own kind or with the enemy lover they can no longer live without.

Reviews coming up

I am shooting for 2-3 reviews a week and I am staying pretty on track to hit that number.  I am also going to be adding a new feature to my blog.  It's going to be an Author Spotlight, I want to try to do a new one every month.  It may end up being twice a month but we will see how it goes.  My very first featured author is going to be Ryan Winfield.  I knew that he was the perfect choice for the first month.  Be watching for a feature on him to show up here the first of July sometime!

I am also going to be part of a couple of blog tours in the coming months that I am pretty excited about.  It's something new for me and I think I am going to have a lot of fun!  I think the first one is mid July and it will include a book giveaway!

I have been finding a lot of great review blogs out there, if you are one of them and you follow me via GFC, Linky, etc... just leave me a comment and I will follow you back!

Happy Reading!

  3. 2-3 reviews a week? I wish I could read that much. I'm reading Obsidian right now, and I'm really enjoying it.

    1. Yeah! I read at a book about every 2 days, less over the weekend, but I average 3 a week.
